The Gate 15 Pod, Episode 2

03 February 2020

Our newest podcast is available now! Dave Pounder, Gate 15’s Director for Threat and Risk Analysis, and Jennifer Lyn Walker, Director for Cyber Services, and Andy Jabbour, Gate’s Managing Director, address a number of current threat concerns including novel coronavirus (nCoV) – as a health threat, as cover for abuse by malicious actors, and additional perspective and considerations,  as the team also discusses broader cybersecurity concerns including other high-profile incident abuse, Tax Identity Theft Awareness Week, and the reemergence of Ashley Madison-related extortion, as well as the weaponization of buildings for DDoS attacks. The podcast wraps up touching on some of the recent terrorism and extremism activity.

The Gate 15 Podcast is a recurring monthly discussion among our team and occasional guests as we explore the all-hazards threats and risks impacting the United States and internationally. As we seek to help apply a threat-informed, risk-based approach to analysis, preparedness and operations, we hope these podcasts are informative and maybe even a little entertaining.
