- DOJ: Justice Department Files Federal Charges Against Alleged Perpetrator of Anti-Semitic Terror Attack in Colorado. The Justice Department has filed federal charges against illegal alien Mohammed Sabry Soliman, the alleged perpetrator of yesterday’s anti-Semitic terrorist attack in Colorado… Soliman is being charged with a federal hate crime in addition to facing state charges for attempted murder in Colorado. - Updates: Colorado Attack That Injured 12 Was Planned for a Year, Officials Say. The F.B.I. said in a court filing that the suspect, an Egyptian citizen who had sought asylum in the U.S., brought more than a dozen incendiary devices to a march in support of hostages in Gaza.
- The man who federal investigators say threw Molotov cocktails at marchers in Boulder, Colo., as they voiced support for hostages in Gaza had been planning the attack for a year, he said after his arrest. He was also clear on his motive, saying he wanted to “kill all Zionist people and wished they were all dead,” according to papers filed in federal court.
- Federal officials said on Monday that they had charged the man, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, with a hate crime for an attack that sent eight people to the hospital with burns and other injuries, and injured several others. The suspect yelled “Free Palestine” as he hurled two incendiary devices, and investigators said he had brought 16 additional devices to the event. He told investigators he disguised himself as a gardener in order to get as close as possible to the marchers before attacking them.

Pride Month: Trans community most targeted in anti-LGBTQ+ incidents, GLAAD data shows. Transgender and gender-nonconforming people were the target of over half of all anti-LGBTQ+ incidents tracked by GLAAD over the last year in a new report… GLAAD counted more than 930 anti-LGBTQ+ incidents from May 2024 through April 2025, 52% of which targeted transgender and gender nonconforming people, across 49 states and Washington, D.C.
- The overall number of incidents is down from GLAAD’s prior count, but incidents targeting transgender people were up 14% from the 2023-2024 data.
- Tracked violent attacks resulted in 84 injuries and 10 deaths.
- The most common incidents GLAAD tracked were protests and rallies. The report also tracks verbal and written threats, assault, vandalism and other criminal and non-criminal incidents.
